Make a conscious and deliberate decision to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour

John 1:12 - "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (NKJV)
Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (NKJV)
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NKJV)
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJV)
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(NKJV)
Matthew 26:28 - For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (NKJV)
1 John 1:7 - But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.(NKJV)
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (NKJV)
Romans 10:10 - For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We are all sinners and we fall short of the glory of God. If we stay in a life of sin we remain spiritually dead but God gave us His Son Jesus Christ so that we can receive eternal life. By accepting that Christ died on our behalf we enter into a blood covenant with God which is His covenant of love. In this new life God wants us to live a life of holiness and purity, walking in the light of God. We are to confess our sins before God and He will cleanse us as we receive the forgiveness of our sins.

Pray now, accepting Jesus as your saviour, asking for the forgiveness of your sins and forgiving all who have sinned against you.

Here is an example of what to Pray

Jesus, today I accept You as my Lord and Saviour.

I believe Your Word (John 3:16) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Thank you for dying in my place, wash me with Your Blood and forgive me all my sins, as I forgive everyone who sinned against me.

I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead.

Write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.

I know that I am Your child because Your Word says so in John 1:12 and I will never have to doubt it.

As you receive Jesus Christ into your life you are cleansed of your sins and you are a new creation in Jesus Christ. Your spiritual journey of growth through Jesus starts now and there are some important guidelines that will get you going and help you along the way.

- Talk to God. Start speaking to God in the same way you speak to someone whom you trust. This can be done at anytime no matter what time it is or where you are. Also set aside a time everyday, preferably in the mornings, where you speak to God and share your concerns, asking for help and for the forgiveness of your sins.

- Get yourself a Holy Bible. Begin reading the Bible which is the inspired Word of God, a good place to start reading is the book of John. Set aside a time everyday to read the Bible.

- Share your experience with others.

- Find a Bible-believing Church. Attend a church so that you can fellowship with other Christians and grow in your faith. We suggest you find a home cell based church.

- Join a Home Cell Group. A Home Cell is a small group of Christians who gather together in someone's home, usually once a week. This is a time of fellowship with God and one another. A part of the meeting is spent talking around God's Word, sharing life changing principles to help you grow.
